Matte Black Saunapallo® with the new UNA hook

Matte Black Saunapallo® combines Finnish sauna tradition, beautiful design and a softer löyly experience. Saunapallo is hung above the sauna stove, where it releases water evenly onto the stones and creates pleasant, long-lasting humidity in the sauna.

This product includes the matte black Saunapallo with the previous ball model and the new UNA hook designed by Janne Uusi-Autti. The new patented hook gives the product a more refined and elegant look and makes it easier to pour water into the ball.

Please note: this ball model has three small holes at the top. These holes are part of the previous chain structure. They are not a manufacturing defect and they do not affect the use of the product with the new UNA hook.

Saunapallo can be used in many ways: for relaxing and even löyly, as a beautiful design element in the sauna, or together with traditional löyly throwing to create a softer and longer-lasting steam experience.

How Saunapallo works

Pour the desired amount of water into the ball and gently push it with a sauna ladle to set it in motion.

The small holes at the bottom of the ball release water evenly onto the sauna stones.

You can fill the ball before entering the sauna, so the sauna is already pleasantly humid when you go in.

For relaxing and slowly rising löyly, pour about 1 to 1.5 litres of water into the ball and gently set it swinging.

If you want stronger löyly, you can still throw water on the stones as usual. We recommend first adding water to Saunapallo and then throwing stronger löyly afterwards.

You can also use sauna fragrances mixed with löyly water. Saunapallo helps spread the scent evenly in the sauna.

The ball should be washed regularly from the inside to prevent the small holes at the bottom from getting blocked.
